I guess I should have been more clear, I was pretty one minded when posting this, that yes there are different situations that require different approaches, and what I talk about in the post does not always apply. For example, if you run a big paid service web app then it is really your duty to be transparent about it&#039;s up-time, as well as the fact that if you fully disclose your down-time and it&#039;s a tiny amount then the user can see how stable your product is.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We need to adapt each circumstance with the most fitting approach.</description>
